When contacting emergency services, it is beneficial to be able to provide the exact location of the vehicle.
Under normal driving conditions, the vehicle’s position can be determined using the navigation system to retrieve its GPS location coordinates. See Navigation Overview.
Note: When speaking to emergency services, inform the operator if you know the vehicle’s direction of travel, as this can assist them in getting to you as soon as possible.
