Central Touchscreen Overview

Central Touchscreen Overview

The status bar and main menu remain fixed on the Central Touchscreen. Other components of the display may resize, depending on which features you are currently using. The following illustrations provide a general layout as to where active features usually reside on the screen.

Control Mode
  1. Status bar. See Status bar.

  2. ADAS and camera views. See Selecting Camera Views.

  4. Maps and navigation.

  5. Active window: Focuses on the currently-selected feature.

  6. Media/Phone.

Hollywood Mode (If equipped)

Status bar
  • Current user profile.

  • Alexa Hands-Free Off. See Alexa Built-in.

  • Connectivity.

Main menu

Press an icon in the main menu along the left side of the Central Touchscreen (or the bottom when in Control Mode) to view options:

Button bar controls

The button bar located below the touchscreen contains an active touch display and physical buttons, used to control certain climate and infotainment features.

Note: Press and hold a button to rapidly change that setting.

  1. Driver temperature display

    Secondary function: Tap to activate/deactivate SYNC.

    Note: When SYNC is activated, the temperate settings for the driver and passenger are synchronized to the setting on the display that initiated the SYNC.

  2. Fan speed display

    Secondary function: Tap to turn the climate system On or Off.

  3. Front defrost

  4. Rear defrost

  5. Volume display

    Secondary function: Tap to mute or unmute the audio system.

  6. Passenger temperature display

    Secondary function: Tap to activate/deactivate SYNC.

  7. Driver temperature buttons

    Note: If SYNC is activated, the buttons control the temperature for both front seating positions.

  8. Fan speed buttons

  9. Home/Rotate button

    Press to return to the Home screen on the Central Touchscreen.

    Press and hold to rotate the Central Touchscreen (where equipped). See Control and Hollywood Modes (If Equipped).

  10. Volume control buttons

  11. Passenger temperature buttons

    Press and hold the buttons to rapidly change the temperature settings.

    Note: If SYNC is activated, the buttons control the temperature for both front seating positions.
