Child Safety Locks

Child Safety Locks

WARNING: For their safety, the child safety locks should be activated whenever children are seated in the rear seats. There is a risk of death or serious injury if a child operates the rear doors.

WARNING: Never leave children unsupervised in a vehicle.

Your vehicle is equipped with child safety locks on both rear doors. This system prevents occupants from opening the rear doors using the interior door handles.

Note: The exterior door handles will still operate according to the current lock status of the vehicle.

To engage or disengage this feature, open a rear door and manually move the child safety lock to the locked or unlocked position. Do the same for the other door.
