Disabling the Vehicle’s Power for Service
Disabling the Vehicle’s Power for Service
It is recommended that service and repair of your vehicle is entrusted to Fisker. However, if your vehicle is being worked on at an independent repair center, please make them aware of the following information.
A service power disconnect is provided under the hood for when service and repair of vehicle components is required. The service power disconnect disables both 12-volt and high-voltage power to the vehicle’s systems.
-
Open the hood. See Opening and Closing the Hood.
-
Locate the service power disconnect connector near the 12V battery.
-
Press the red tab on the connector and slide the inner black part of the connector out of the housing.
Note: The inner part of the connector does not fully remove from the outer housing.
-
Insert a padlock through the hole in the inner part of the connector to lock out the system while the vehicle is being worked on.
