Defrost
Note: The exterior side mirror defrost feature activates when the front or rear defrost buttons are activated.
Windshield defrost
To defrost the windshield, press the button on the bar below the Central Touchscreen. The icon highlights when activated.
Once pressed, heat and fan speed switches to high settings, and air flow is directed through the vents at the base of the windshield.
Note: When front defrost is activated, any changes to the temperature controls via the Central Touchscreen cancel the feature.
To deactivate, press the button again, and the system reverts to the previous climate control settings.
If the windshield defog/defrost is turned On, the rear control panel (if equipped) pauses the climate controls. Once the windshield defog/defrost is turned Off, the rear panel controls are enabled.
Note: Seat heating and volume controls remain available when the rear control panel is paused.
Rear window defrost
To defrost the rear window, press the button on the bar below the Central Touchscreen. The icon highlights when activated.
Once pressed, the heating elements in the rear window will turn On.
Press the button again to turn rear defrost Off manually.
Note: The rear defrost automatically turns Off after 15 minutes.
